Paul Horton Biography

Paul Horton is an American nine-time Emmy-winning meteorologist working for 3TV as an evening meteorologist on Good Evening Arizona at 4 p.m.

alongside Yetta Gibson and Derek Staahl. He also has a weekly segment known as the Pay It Forward program that highlights people doing great things in our community.

Portland, Oregon is Paul’s native home, and he attended George Fox University where he studied communication and broadcasting.

He also earned a degree in meteorology from Mississippi State University. Prior to relocating to Phoenix, Horton worked in Cincinnati and Spokane as a weather anchor. In addition, for nine years, he worked at CBS 5 while serving as the morning meteorologist and host of the station’s morning show.

Over the years, he has done thousands of live shots in the state and considers the Valley his forever home.
