While we defer to Carolyne Zinko of the San Francisco Chronicle for his obituary, we share some of the overwhelming amount of social media posts acknowledging the passing of this 82-year-old fashion legend whose eponymous store at 375 Sutter Street celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.
The memorial for Bashford will be held at Grace Cathedral at 11 a.m.
on Friday, Jan. 29.
